CLOSE ON - A screw driver being jammed into a door so it opens. It’s quite clear someone is breaking in

CUT TO:

CLOSE ON - A set of black boots walk the darkened corridor.

CUT TO:

A FILING CABINET. The draw is opened and a set of gloved hands search through, skimming the names on the files. We do not see who the hands belong to.

The hands stop at a file with the name VICTORIA WOODS on it and remove it, then, begin flicking through.

CLOSE ON – the file:

• information about her mental state

• Picture of her

• Info about where she goes to college

• Address

• Medical information

• Information about her father

• Age

• Symptoms of a breakdown

He flicks back to the picture and we ZOOM in SLOWLY.

CUT TO BLACK:

TITLE CARD: The Surreal

LIGHTNING and THUNDER strikes.

FADE IN:

EXT. COLLEGE – EARLY EVENING

ESTABLISHING – the TOWER BLOCK of the COLLEGE. Very few lights are on and it has an abandoned feel to it.

WE PAN DOWN the building until we are at the GROUND FLOOR. VICTORIA, 20, WALKS INTO FRAME and we stay with her until she enters the building.
